Five Reasons why this new property is the one for your next seaside break!

We have been lucky enough to add ‘Beach Cottage’ to our list of beautiful seaside holiday homes. And oh my gosh isn’t it perfect.

1. Location

This gorgeous property is situated right on the seafront of the coastal town of Teignmouth in Devon. We love Beach Cottage because it’s so close to the sea. When it’s warm you can nip from your room to the sand in seconds. When it’s stormy you can watch the tides from your bed or an armchair. At night you can open your window and listen to the waves.

2. Interior

Beach Cottage is light and airy, with the sunny Devon weather bouncing  off our white walls! The cottage contains all the bits and bobs you might need, whilst keeping it calm and uncluttered.  The living room is comfy and relaxed. Watch television or a DVD, or you may find it’s more entertaining to watch the comings and goings along the seafront and on the water. There are board games, books, some LPs and a record player, yoga mats – in case you feel inspired - and a selection of magazines.

We know you’ll find this place cosy and welcoming. In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor shower to rinse off al-fresco! With plenty of room to store your stand up paddle-boards.

We would happily suggest this cottage to anyone, and believe that it really does tick all those holiday property boxes. Luxurious and beautifully presented yet a real home from home. This exquisite property sleeps up-to 9 adults and even excepts dogs if you cannot bear to let them miss out.

5. Restaurants

The back beach, overlooking the harbour and estuary, is a hub of activity. There are some great pubs offering food, drinks and frequent live music – a lovely place to watch the sun go down at any time of the year. A few minutes inland or up the river and you will find some of the cosiest thatched pubs serving the real deal when it comes to Devonshire cuisine.
