Summer draws nearer and why not spend a short break in Devon at one of our cottages in the beautiful South Devon town of Shaldon. There is much to see and do during the day and for the evening, why not grab tickets and enjoy any of these music events coming up in the next month?
Live Jazz at The Clifford Arms
From June 5 to June 27, Monday nights will be filled with jazz music at The Clifford Arms. You can enjoy some jazz music, a glass of wine and a bit of supper. In the warm summer evenings, there is nothing better than enjoying some funky and relaxing music.
Shaldon Classical Music Festival
Starting on Thursday June 16, with the final concert on Saturday June 19, you can enjoy some great examples of classical music as the London Winds, Chetham’s School of Music Chamber Ensemble, Choral Workshop and Busch Piano Trio will appear. This year celebrates the 27th year of the festival in Shaldon.
The Shrine
The rock cover band have a busy year appearing at different music festivals, private events and they regularly play around South Devon. On June 10th you can see them at The Ferry Boat Inn at Shaldon, where they will be playing songs from bands like Kings of Leon, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol and the Foo Fighters.
New Heros
Another great cover band New Heroes will be appearing at The Ferry Boat Inn on June 24. The four-piece band put on a professional and very fun show, featuring music from U2, Elton John, Queen, Muse, The Who and more. They are definitely one of the best bands out their covering all your favourite hits.
