This charming, idyllic house is located with superb views backing onto Riverside, a short flat walk to the shops and all other amenities of the village. On approaching the property there is a large sunny patio area with a bench seat. The front door leads into a large hallway with understairs cupboard housing a washing machine. Off the hallway there is a comfortable lounge facing towards the front of the property with double settee and two single chairs, electric fire, flat screen TV and DVD. To the rear is a large dining room and integral kitchen area. This is a very pleasant room with large welsh dresser, dining table with 8 chairs and window seat. The modern kitchen has small freezer, microwave, electric oven/hob, toaster and dishwasher. From the hallway stairs go up to the first floor to three bedrooms. Bedroom 1: Overlooking the front, is a double-bedded room with large wardrobe, and hanging space area, dressing table and wash basin. Bathroom: With w.c., wash hand basin, bath and shower over. Bedrooms 2 & 3: to the rear with windows, one with two single beds, dressing table and hanging area, and a single bedded room with dressing table. From the landing area stairs lead up to a second floor, although the stairs are very steep you enter a most delightful room full of nautical character with comfortable seating for 8 people. Double doors lead out to a large sunny balcony with stunning views over the estuary and Teignmouth. There is also a separate toilet with wash hand basin off this room. |
